bringing it together

presentations went well this week. we could have put a little more time into it. The presentation was a good learning experience for all of us, next years class might be able to put something a little more fancy together. The students paid good attention, better than i thought they would.

Test essays were a drag with aweful topics of discussion. Having limited computers that worked because of virus problems was a pain. i did learn that i enjoy research papers much more than essays, being able to gather information and putting it together is much easier for me.

DC trip was hella tight, I'd love to go again. future classes should invest in going

overall the class was not bad, i enjoyed the small class. wish people wouldnt ask me to buy them a book then drop the class and never pay me back.. grimmy

  1. "hella tight" ?? Ok. Glad the trip was worth it for you. Encourage others to sign up next fall when I hopefully can organize an entire bus load! You guys were awesome, professional and good sports the whole way. I agree that your research skills are better than the essay writing but yet, I can see with the right topic, that you really can put those wonderful insights down on paper. I am glad the presentation was a learning experience. I know you impacted students with what you shared. "Remember what you saw" and what you wrote about and what you experienced. The Jewish faith is all about remembrance. I hope "remembering" is what you take away from this course.
